The Greater Sudbury Ringette Association is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. As part of this commitment, at least one parent or guardian of every player under the age of 18 is required to complete the Respect in Sport Parent Program before the season begins.
This nationally recognized, online course helps parents understand their influential role in creating a positive sport experience for young athletes. The program promotes respectful behaviour, effective communication, and reinforces our shared responsibility in supporting fair play and athlete well-being.
If you've already completed the course for another sport (e.g., hockey or soccer), your certification can be imported into your Ringette Ontario profile.
To complete the program or link an existing certificate, visit: https://ringette-parent.respectgroupinc.com
Completion of this program is mandatory for registration to be considered complete.
The online course costs $12 and is transferable to other sports involved in Respect in Sport. If you have completed this training for another sport, you can upload your certification number during registration without having to take the course again.
